Hi, my name is Sheryn. I never thought I would say “becoming redundant was the best thing that ever happened to me…” however, life has a funny way of showing you that change can in fact, be the best medicine!

At first I was scared. I was scared I would make the wrong decision by investing in myself. However, I knew there had to be more to life than what I was doing - being crazy busy, working hard for very little return, having no energy every day, and always wondering if ‘one day’ things would miraculously get easier or better?!

Those days of wondering are over, I now choose my hours, choose my days I wish to work, and best of all I fit work in around life – not the other way around!

I am part of a global company filled with a community of motivated, passionate entrepreneurs who have given me the support, training and encouragement I needed to join an industry I truly love! I work my own hours, from anywhere and I am in charge of creating my own team. Want to learn more?

"You get two things daily: a chance and a choice. Use them both accordingly."

I've been hearing a little voice in my head lately reminding me what I am here for and encouraging me to stay on track.

I choose to believe that a 'chance' is actually an opportunity to improve something and that I have the choice of doing something or doing nothing. When I do something it has a ripple effect and if I do nothing I feel the opportunity slip away.

Today I choose to embrace the opportunity given to me to grow my business.

Have you ever had a period of time where you just can't seem to shake the 'funk'? Everything feels hard and you are constantly worried, sad or feeling so low you want to curl up and sleep for a week. Worse still, have you ever had a period of time where every week something else goes dramatically wrong leaving you feeling like the whole world is your enemy?

For more than 2 years I felt like my world was falling apart and that as soon as I took one step forward I was kicked 3 steps backward.

Every week in an attempt to lift my mood and take a positive step forward I would say "it can't get any worse, right? Next week will be better?" - always with a question mark rather than a positive belief that my statement would become truth. I know now that my mindset was completely wrong and that saying those words and not believing, not even for a moment, that life would actually improve, was no way to change my life for the better. I honestly believe I was challenging the universe to show me that what I had going on was just a drop in the bucket and in fact it could and would continue to get worse whilst ever I ignored the positive mindset teachings I had previously learned! As always, the universe is listening and the energy I was putting out was exactly what was being thrown back at me.

How did things turn around?

Very slowly!!

The moment I truly decided to make a change, it felt like everything changed.

There's no overnight 'fix', changing your outlook can be challenging and you have to put in the work to see the results however the 'new you' is definitely worth the effort.

Personal development, mindset, self love and the belief that you absolutely deserve better is life-changing.

Start as slowly as you need to but be consistent, everyday do something for yourself, speak about what you are grateful for, record your dreams and truly BELIEVE that the universe is conspiring to bring you exactly what you most desire.
