Sometimes we need a fresh set of eyes …

Earlier this afternoon while on the phone with mum I asked Papa John if he could come over and tell me if my plants were happy 🪴😎

Yep I am that daughter who asked these things of her parents 😁

For a quick back story these plants were bits of plants that I saved after the Christmas Day tornado here. I found them dead and withered in the garden and thought “I think I can save these” 💭 I popped them in water so they would grow some roots then I potted them and they are sunning themselves on the balcony (well right now drowning may be a better description given all the rain ☔️ )

🤔 I think they are happy but I’m not sure on two - their leaves are changing colour and turning inward and I don’t know if it’s a good thing, bad thing or just what they do 🤷‍♀️

I think Mum and Papa John thought I was crazy (nothing new there 😆) but he’s the expert here and I need his perspective. When we were growing up he grew all our vegies, loads of different fruit, maintained a huge garden and all sorts. He knows all about growing stuff (among many other things) so who best to ask right?

There is no magic pill 💊, fairy dust 🧚‍♀️or get-rich-quick 💸formula to propel your success!

What it's really about is getting great over time, working smarter not harder and taking the right steps to propel your success.

Because this journey to business success doesn’t have to be hard it can be smart and easy. Who am I to help coaches start and scale their coaching business?

I didn’t even ask myself that question when I started out because it was so logical to me that I could help with this. I had been growing and scaling companies for over 10 years, then did it for myself not once but twice – so I just knew I had the skills to help.

But many of the amazing coaches I speak to get hung up on this part. They worry about not being expert enough or certified enough to be able to coach. They think they need a fancy website, success stories and a heap of qualifications before they even begin.

So let me say this once and for all; you do not need a heap of qualifications or certifications to teach others what you know or have experienced yourself. And you do not need a heap of success stories or a fancy website to start.

Because here’s the truth, people connect, engage and buy from people they like. People will want to work with you because of your personality, your skill set, your experience, and what you stand for. They care about whether you can actually help them get the result their looking for.

So, instead of doubting yourself and wondering if you have the right title or experience, invest in what will make a difference to your business.
