One of the biggest lessons I learned during my 20 years in corporate is this:
your environment shapes your trajectory.

When you surround yourself with people who are driven, focused, and committed to creating something bigger for their lives, everything shifts.
Your standards rise.
Your thinking expands.
Your confidence grows.
You start to see possibilities you couldn’t see before.

The last 5 weeks have looked like school holidays, kids everywhere, zero routine… and a brand‑new puppy joining the chaos.

And somehow, in the middle of all that, my online business still created over AU $35,000 profit.

This is exactly why I love what I do.

I get to be present for the moments that matter — the cuddles, the beach walks, the puppy training, the messy family days — while still running a business that grows even when life is anything but calm.

School holidays have been in full swing, and like so many parents, I’ve been deep in the beautiful chaos of juggling kids, work, routines, and the never‑ending snack requests. If you’re in the same season, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

Running a business while raising a family isn’t always neat or predictable — but it is possible with intention, flexibility, and a whole lot of grace. For me, it looks like:

✨ Creating pockets of time for work when the house is calm
✨ Being fully present with my kids when they need me
✨ Remembering that balance isn’t a fixed state — it’s something we adjust daily
