🏆 What an incredible honour.

We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised by COEX as the 2026 Change Maker of the Year.

When we opened our first depot in Clontarf back in 2019, we had a simple vision..

To create container refund points that people actually enjoyed visiting.

Places where customer service mattered.
Where safety came first.
Where our sites were clean, welcoming and part of the local community.

Seven years later, that vision has grown from one depot into seven refund points, a dedicated team of more than 80 people, valued community partnerships and the privilege of serving thousands of Queenslanders across the state.

But what makes us most proud isn’t the number of sites we’ve opened, it’s the people behind them.

People see the depots, the trucks and the containers. We see the people who make it all happen.

This award belongs to our entire Express Recycling family.

To our depot managers, drivers, customer service team, sorters, maintenance, administration team, commercial team and everyone who proudly wears the Express Recycling logo each day… thank you.

Thank you for showing up every day with pride and professionalism.
Thank you for caring about our customers.
Thank you for supporting your local communities.
Thank you for always looking for ways to improve.
Thank you for making Express Recycling the business it is today.

We’re also incredibly grateful to our customers, community partners, charities, sporting clubs, schools and commercial clients who have supported us along the way. This recognition belongs to you too.

To have COEX recognise our leadership, operational excellence, community partnerships, meaningful local employment and continuous growth is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and winners, and a sincere thank you to COEX for this incredible recognition.

💚 This award isn’t the finish line, it’s motivation to keep getting better every day.

Here’s to continuing to make a difference… one container, one customer and one community at a time. ♻️

🌏 World Environment Day 2026 🌏

This year's theme, "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future." reminds us that the choices we make today help shape the future we leave for generations to come.

At Express Recycling Queensland, we're proud to be part of a scheme that turns everyday actions into meaningful environmental, social and community outcomes.

Every container returned through Containers for Change helps keep valuable resources in circulation, supports local communities and contributes to a cleaner future.

Today, we'd like to thank our customers, schools, charities, sporting clubs, businesses, community groups and team members who choose to recycle and make a difference every day.

Together, we're helping prove that small actions really can create big change.

💚♻️ Small Change. Big Difference.
