We have an incredible new label collaborator to present! will creating a piece to label our Vintage #8 wines with

Her work reminds me (an amateur) of something between classical painting and controlled chaos. It's theatrical, and rebellious, the sort of energy Not Yet Named loves.

From her perspective "winemaking feels very close to alchemy; symbolic, poetic, and deeply metaphorical so that could be a beautiful direction to explore for the label.”

Grapes turning into wine, a community turning decisions into something real is magic and now we get art emerging from that same process.

Sasha is also completely on board with the crazy concept behind Not Yet Named Wine Co., that a group of curious wine drinkers can democratically shape something creative together. She’s keen to involve the community, hear your expectations of the wine, obey your votes (she'll choose the options, of course) and reflect all of that in the artwork itself.

Her pieces hang in serious galleries, so I was thrilled when she wanted to dive into our slightly chaotic democratic world. I can't wait to see what you all create together!

Last week we opened the Slovenian Malvazija for the first time: “Do Istrian Pigs Dream of Electric Malvazija?”

Huge thanks to Jon for hosting us at Nekter, we packed out their brilliant space near Liverpool Street and one of the best places in London for interesting new world wines at keen prices.

literally brought the wines over in a suitcase (proper dedication as always).
captured it all on camera with flair
And our members, as always, made the night what it was.

This whole slightly-mad, democratic winemaking thing only works because of you lot and honestly, it’s ridiculously fun being part of it.

We're about to announce our next partner winery for Vintage #6 in Australia!

Before I reveal all next week, here's a little reminder of where we've taken our members and what we've created so far....

2. Chilean Rhone blend with

4. Swartland Chenin with
5. Malvaijza Istriana with

Vintage #4 is going to take us to Swartland, South Africa.

I’d say that this is probably a bigger coup than I was ever expecting in Not Yet Named Wine Co’s short history. The wines are iconic and they have great stories to tell. AA Badenhorst wines focus simply on enjoyment, which makes them the perfect partner for us.

The experience will be starting in January so sign up to the vintage (or subscribe to all our vintages, it'll be 10% cheaper) to vote on each decision as we make a wine we make with Adi and get 6 bottles of it once it's ready!
