RTO registration approved yesterday. One meeting. One small clarification. Going live Monday.
I was appointed last October. From then until now, this client's team and I rebuilt everything — not just the paperwork, but the why, the what and the how of their learning, woven through every policy and procedure. The learner at the centre of all of it.
Thirty years in this sector and I've rarely seen ASQA move like that. And it wasn't luck.
When an application is built from the learner outward — when the documents are simply true — there's nothing to defend at audit. Compliance stops being theatre and becomes the natural shape of an organisation that knows what it's doing.
That's the whole difference. Box-ticking is brittle. Built right holds.
I won't ever promise a yes from ASQA — nobody honest can. But five years in, every initial registration I've guided through has been approved. Because we build them properly, every time.
