Well it has been 15 years of WHA. We have seen some awesome events and worked with some amazing people. I firstly want to say what an honor it has been working with everyone. After 15 years and over 4000 events White Horse Audio is closing its doors.
It has been some real hard (whiskey drinking) thinking over this. I am choosing to close the company to be a stay at home dad for my 2 little girls. My wonderful wife has put her career on hold for almost 3 years so its the least i can do for her.
A lot of you this is not new news as i started this process a few months ago now. We have sold off the bulk of the company to Brisbane Sound Group who we strongly recommend to go to for any of your event needs in the future. The rest of our gear has been sold off to some of the other companies we have worked along side of for many years.
Tash is moving on to her artwork full time and i am hoping and praying that works out for her and she gets all the support from her loving husband Jayden.
Liam moved on at the beginning of 2019 and is now in the USA following his dream of recording and producing and been an instagram model! No but really he could be.
As for all our other casuals most of them have lots of work with other companies and have found more than enough work to keep them busy.
As for me, Looking after the girls full time is more than enough work but i have a few small jobs in our local community that i will still be evolved with, and one of the larger conferences that we have looked after for many years.
Thank you everyone for the Early morning, Late nights, Rainy days, 40 degree bumpin’s, STAIRS, wrong band specs, runsheet’s not on time, MC’s not on script, power shortages, low ceilings and all the silly things that really do make this industry different, eventful and fun EVERY DAY!
