The team from R Marine Crawley set off recently on their highly anticipated Circle Whitsundays Experience. Attracting 12 Riviera luxury motor yachts and 40 owners and their guests who all thoroughly enjoyed this exceptional cruise through one of Australia’s most beautiful boating destinations.

From the turquoise waters of the Whitsundays to quiet anchorages, pristine beaches and memorable dining experiences, the itinerary has been designed to celebrate the very best of life on the water and the special connections of the Riviera family.

Highlights include a themed beach barbecue at Shaw Island, lunch at Qualia on Hamilton Island, a day at Whitehaven Beach and an evening of farewell celebrations before the journey home.

The Circle Whitsundays Experience is a fantastic celebration of the Riviera life. And we can’t wait to see more.

Circle Whitsundays 2026 | The Final Evening – Elementa Whitsundays

What a fantastic way to wrap up our R Marine Crawley Circle Whitsundays 2026 adventure!

Last night, for our final gathering, we headed to Elementa Whitsundays, an impressive venue perched high on Mount Whitsunday in Airlie Beach, offering sweeping views across the Coral Sea and surrounding islands.

With some of our Riviera fleet berthed at Coral Sea Marina and others at Port of Airlie, everyone came together at Elementa for our final evening.

The evening began at the rooftop bar with canapés, drinks and live music. It was a great atmosphere and the perfect opportunity to catch up and reflect on the adventures of the past week.

From there, we made our way downstairs into the restaurant for an incredible dining experience. The food was exceptional, and it was a fitting way to finish off what has been another fantastic trip exploring the Whitsundays.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Circle Whitsundays 2026. It was a pleasure welcoming some new faces and catching up with familiar ones who have shared many of these adventures with us over the years.

These trips are a great opportunity to share experiences, pick up a few cruising tips along the way and get to know fellow Riviera owners. It's been great to see new friendships formed throughout the journey.

With our Circle Whitsundays experience now complete, several boats are making their way south towards the Gold Coast, while others have chosen to spend a little more time enjoying the Whitsundays before making their way home at their own pace.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us and helped make this another enjoyable R Marine Crawley experience. We look forward to catching up on the water again soon!

Circle Whitsundays 2026 | Day 8 – Hill Inlet & Whitehaven Beach

Day eight of our R Marine Crawley Circle Whitsundays trip saw the fleet departing Nara Inlet in the morning, enjoying breakfast along the way as we made our way towards Hill Inlet.

After anchoring, it was time to launch the tenders and head upstream to explore one of the Whitsundays' most photographed locations.

Located at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet is famous for its incredible combination of turquoise waters and brilliant white silica sand. As the tides move, the shifting sandbanks create ever-changing patterns and colours, making it a truly unique part of the Whitsundays.

After exploring the inlet, we returned to the Rivieras for a short cruise of just a couple of nautical miles to Whitehaven Beach, where we dropped anchor for the night.

Stretching over seven kilometres along Whitsunday Island, Whitehaven Beach is renowned for its incredibly fine white sand, made up of approximately 98% silica, and its clear, beautiful waters.

The afternoon was kept nice and easy, with everyone enjoying a swim, soaking up some sunshine and relaxing aboard before heading ashore at 4:45pm for sundowners on Whitehaven Beach.

What a great way to finish the day, with a relaxed afternoon on the water followed by drinks on one of Australia's most recognised beaches.

Circle Whitsundays 2026 | Day 7 – Nara Inlet, Hook Island

Day seven of our R Marine Crawley Circle Whitsundays trip began with another beautiful morning in Nara Inlet, with the Riviera fleet remaining rafted together from the previous afternoon.

With clear skies and plenty of sunshine, everyone enjoyed a leisurely breakfast aboard, catching up over coffee and taking in the surrounding scenery of the steep, forested hills and calm waters.

Later in the morning, it was time to stretch the legs with a group walk along the Ngaro Cultural Site Track on Hook Island. Following this was a bit of tender exploring.

Although only 340 metres return, the short but steep track provided a good workout, leading up through the natural bushland to a significant Indigenous cultural site featuring ancient Ngaro rock art.

It was a great opportunity to explore a little more of the island and appreciate the rich cultural history of the Whitsundays, beyond the beautiful waterways we spend so much time enjoying.

Another relaxed day in Nara Inlet, with a little exercise, some local history and plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings.

Circle Whitsundays 2026 | Days 5 & 6 – Turtle Bay & Nara Inlet

Day 5 – Turtle Bay

After a fantastic luncheon at Qualia on Hamilton Island, day five was a chance for everyone to slow things down and enjoy a well-earned rest day at Turtle Bay.

With beautiful sunshine and lovely conditions throughout the afternoon, many of the Riviera crews took the opportunity to throw out a fishing line, while others simply relaxed aboard and enjoyed a quieter day on the water.

A laid-back day with no set plans, making the most of the Whitsundays at our own pace.

Day 6 – Nara Inlet

Day six of our R Marine Crawley Circle Whitsundays trip took us from Turtle Bay around to Nara Inlet, one of the Whitsundays' most sheltered and popular overnight anchorages.

Surrounded by steep, densely forested hills, Nara Inlet offers a calm, two-mile stretch of water with excellent protection from the wind, making it an ideal spot to settle in for the afternoon.

Our Riviera fleet made its way to the far end of the inlet, where the boats came together for a raft-up.

With everyone bringing a plate to share, the afternoon was spent enjoying a great selection of food, a few drinks and plenty of conversation aboard the Rivieras.

It was a relaxed afternoon in a beautiful setting, with the boats rafted together and everyone making the most of another day in the Whitsundays.
