We are delighted to share that Alan Riva will join us on stage, in conversation with our Vice President, Jodi Robertson, at High Tea & Business Bubbles on the 28th October. Alan is no stranger to the Women of Influence community as a previous guest speaker, and we could not be happier to welcome him back!

Alan shares a 30-year-strong philosophy as a keynote speaker on the Power of Living Present, with clients including Medibank, CommBank, UNSW, and more, as well as writing his book The Jar of Spring.

Alan also has a personal connection to Nepal, spending much of last 20 years in these communities. On his most recent trip he and his son Noah stayed with locals in the same villages now buried under mud and rubble.

At the High Tea & Business Bubbles event we will be doing more than raising a glass to Spring this year.

Alan has committed 100% of the proceeds from his book The Jar of Dreams Pre-Release Edition to helping his friends and the wider community rebuild. Plus every Luxury Raffle ticket sale at our High Tea event will go toward helping the families of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Tanahun start again.

We’re aiming to raise $10,000 to help families rebuild their homes and their lives, and show them that the Women of Influence community is thinking of them, and that they are not alone in this most challenging of times.

One of the most exciting parts of our High Tea & Business Bubbles (apart from the ch*****ne and company!) is hearing from an inspiring keynote speaker. We can't wait to announce this year's speaker, but for now, let's take a little trip down memory lane!

In 2025, five-time Olympian and beach volleyball gold medallist Natalie Cook OAM shared her invaluable insights on leadership, resilience, and her work with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Committee.

In 2024 we fangirled a little over Kristina Karlsson, founder of kikki.K, who spoke earnestly about building a $650m global business and finding silver linings in adversity.

And in 2023, record-breaking runner and conservation storyteller Erchana Murray-Bartlett shared her incredible story completing 150 marathons in 150 days from Cape York to Melbourne and raising over $140,000 for Australian biodiversity.
