I will b traveling again soon. Locally and internationally; and while I love the adventure, I thoroughly enjoy STILLNESS.

Many of the people I know like myself are highly productive, on the go producers. Always accomplishing goals, taking care of others, active and checking things off of their to do list. However, while I am proud of myself for all I have accomplished. I am called to remind u to take time to be still.

Its during these intentional moments of stillness that your cells are able to heal and your body and mind is able to rejuvenate. In the stillness we replenish our selves in order to continue the work ahead.

Do you enjoy your own company? Have you taken quality time to listen to your self? How do you tend to your spirit?

Remember to take time to rest, read, relax and rejuvenate so u are fortified for the journey ahead. Grateful for quality time with self before Im back on the road.

Mothering the mother...

In my work I see how much attention is put on the new baby but what about momma, the older children and rest of the family?

As a doula often times your work extends beyond supporting mom. This work is WHOLISTIC Care. Remember to hold the momma ...and the rest of the family too...

Are u comfortable with touch ? The last birth I supported had 'All The Feels" at one point momma .bliss and I released a few tears , next thing you kno the midwife is telling me to hug momma...I gladly did... holding my sister we laid on her bed & cried small...we weren't sad, or in pain at the moment...we just needed to cry, release, and be embraced through the ebb and flow of life.
