Last night I had a bomb dropped on me that I wasn’t expecting.

I didn’t think I would be so emotional about it but I was.

The last 24 hours has been a test of my discipline because the thing is it’s easy to stay consistent when life is going well and you are feeling emotionally regulated.

True discipline is getting punched in the face and standing back up.

I want to be clear, in no means am I saying you should bypass your emotions.

It is so important to feel your feelings.

But then you have to get back on the saddle.

If you want to do big things in life and create a lot of impact and success.

It requires you to consistently show up even when you are in the trenches.

Not just when “you’re feeling it”.
