I’ve noticed something after many years working with students, professionals and people navigating new environments:
Some of the most thoughtful, capable people are not always the first to speak.
They have ideas.
They notice things.
They have valuable perspectives.
But sometimes they hold back.
And often it’s not because they lack knowledge or ability — it’s because communication confidence is complicated.
It can be shaped by personality, culture, language, past experiences, workplace dynamics or simply not knowing how to step into the conversation.
I’ve always believed confidence isn’t about becoming the loudest person in the room.
It’s about finding ways to contribute that feel authentic.
That idea has inspired my new workshop: Finding Your Professional Voice — Communicate with Confidence at Work.
It’s a practical, small-group online session for people who want to build confidence, contribute more fully and communicate in a way that feels authentic.
The first session is now open for registration.
