Driving into work this morning, I spotted a ute with:
**“Just search Google — Emergency Glass Repairs.”**
And I thought… that's interesting.
No company name stood out to me. Nothing that told me *who* I should actually be looking for.
Just search Google.
So naturally my marketing brain went straight to:
*Okay, but if I Google “emergency glass repairs”, how am I going to know which one is you?* 🤔
Because Google isn't going to know I saw your ute.
It's going to show me businesses competing for that search — Google Ads, Maps, organic results — and suddenly I've got plenty of choices.
Including your competitors.
The funny thing is, **the vehicle advertising actually worked.**
I noticed it.
I read it.
I remembered the service.
It made me curious enough to search.
But then it handed the final part of the customer journey over to Google.
That's the difference between simply being **seen** and being **remembered**.
In 2026, traditional advertising can still work brilliantly — vehicles, signage, print, radio, billboards. But it works much harder when your brand and digital presence work together.
Give people something to remember.
Your name. Your brand. Your difference.
Then when they reach for Google, they're searching for **you** — not giving your competitors a chance to finish the job your advertising started.
**Getting attention is only half the job. Don't advertise your competitors at the same time.** 😉
