Moreton Bay Research Station is hosting the practical component of the Certificate II in Maritime Operations (Coxswain Grade 1 Near Coastal / MAR20324), run by The University of Queensland via UQ Skills.
Through this course, you will learn the regulations and codes of practice that govern the operation of a marine vessel, as well as basic navigation, manoeuvring and berthing procedures, marine communications, and emergency response procedures.

A few days in paradise 🌊☀️

This week Mitch and I had the pleasure of attending the Honda Marine Australia OEM & Commercial Event in beautiful Airlie Beach from 15–17 September.

It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow marine industry professionals, meet with Honda Marine, and see the latest developments across the OEM & commercial marine space.

Add in some stunning Whitsundays scenery, great conversations and plenty of time on the water — and it’s hard to call it work! 🌴🚤
