Ruth and Corey here 👋. Last night we headed to MyState Bank Arena to see the Tasmanian Jewels play their historic first game. It was a massive moment for our state 🏀.

We're still on a high this morning after last night’s Women’s National Basketball League game🏀. Being Tasmania Jewels season membership holders is already the best investment we've made all year because that was easily the best atmosphere and basketball game we've ever seen live.

Seeing women's basketball back on the national stage in the WNBL after 30 years is just brilliant 🏀. Corey grew up following the Hobart Islanders and remembers every bit of the excitement when they brought home Tasmania's last women’s national basketball title 🏆.

As a local Hobart business championing women in leadership, this energy is exactly what we love to see. It's all about stepping up, owning your space and growing with joy 🌟.

A massive congratulations to the players, coaching staff, and the entire organisation for securing their historic first ever win in game one of the WNBL 2026/27 season 🌟

Standing up in front of a room of business peers to deliver my first 10 minute feature presentation at BNAA was such a great milestone this week. ☕

It gave me the perfect opportunity to share the real story behind She Rocks Digital as we celebrate 10 years in business last month alongside my husband and business partner Corey. I walked the room through my journey from opening my first retail store at age 19/20 to becoming an accidental marketer back in 2005 when I learned the hard way that launching a website without search visibility brings crickets.

My mission has always been simple: take away the stress of website development and online visibility so you can focus on running your business. A strong website should work hard behind the scenes to attract your ideal clients, not cause endless tech headaches. When your digital strategy is simple and structured, marketing starts feeling clear and energising again.

Who we love working with and what to listen for: We love backing established small and medium businesses ready to scale, especially across disability support, health care, holistic services, conveyancing, cleaners, PTs, florists, and ecommerce brands.

My partner in life and business, Corey, is taking on a 70km challenge this October.👟 And he’s admitted there will be far more walking than running involved, but moving is moving and every single step counts just the same. 🚶‍♂️

This cause hits close to home for our family because we have a loved one on the Autism spectrum. Seeing the world through their eyes makes this challenge deeply personal for us. ❤️

Did you know that 70% of Autistic people experience mental health challenges too. 🧠 That's a staggering figure, and it's time we talk about it more openly. 🗣️

As a Hobart business, we firmly believe that true success means putting people first. Business means very little if members of our community are left behind.

Corey walking 70km throughout October will help raise funds for early diagnosis, Autism specific education, and critical mental health research so Autistic Australians get the support they need to show off their different brilliance. 🌟
