Casino Beef Week Stud Cattle 2026 was a memorable day for RL Pastoral Company.
A total of 143 entries across 13 breeds were judged in an interbreed format , by Hayden Green from Summit Livestock, Crookwell. NSW.
3 entries from RL Pastoral Companies , Riverina Santa Gertrudis stud based at “Mayfield”, Kyogle were exhibited.
- a senior bull and 2 cows and calves rounded out a most successful day winning 10 ribbons .
Riverina U- Tango U95 (PP)(IVF) won the 24-30 months female from a very strong field of 18 entries.
Riverina U- Can U111 (PP)(IVF) was then successful in winning the 30 months and over female class from a strong field of 14 entries .
Riverina U Tango U95 was then successful in claiming Senior interbreed Champion female of Casino Beef Week , while her stable mate - Riverina U Can U111 backed up winning Reserve Senior Champion Interbreed female.
Riverina U Tube U96 (PP)(IVF) was successful in placing 2nd in a very strong Senior Bull class.
Continuing form from the team saw the 3 entries from the stud claim both the prestigious Interbreed Breeders Group and also the Interbreed Sires Progeny Group.
All 3 entries were sired by the Current Australian record price ( $250,000) Santa Gertrudis Sire - Yarrawonga Spartacus S316(P).
Rounding out the day , Riverina U Tango Y95 was awarded Supreme exhibit for the Santa Gertrudis breed, while Riverina UTube stood second !
Riverina U Tango U95 was then awarded Reserve Champion All Breeds Supreme exhibit of Casino Beef Week.
