Lest We Forget

Today, on Anzac Day, the team at Limitless pauses to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.

We remember those who served at Gallipoli in 1915, and all who have served since — in every conflict, every peacekeeping mission, and every moment when they answered the call of duty. We honour those who never came home, those who returned forever changed, and the families who carried the weight of their absence.

The Anzac spirit — courage, mateship, endurance, and sacrifice — continues to shape who we are. It reminds us that freedom is never free, and that the quiet strength of ordinary people can shape the course of history.

Limitless Asset Assurance is expanding and we’re looking for experienced NDT technicians who want to be part of a strong team delivering inspection work across mining and heavy industry assets.
We’re building a team of people who take pride in their work, back their teammates, and push each other to improve.

About the Role
Based in Mackay, this role involves inspection work across heavy mobile equipment, structural components and mining assets in workshop and site environments.
Inspection methods include:
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT)
• Ultrasonic Weld Inspection (UT Welds)
Experience in pressure vessel inspection (API / AICIP) is highly regarded but not essential.
We are particularly interested in technicians who are looking to expand their skill set into advanced NDT methods.

Applicants should hold relevant NDT certifications; however practical industry experience is highly valued.
Candidates with backgrounds in the following areas may attract higher starting salaries within the advertised range:
• Welding / Boilermaking
• Mechanical trades
• Fabrication

• Structural inspection
• Mining maintenance environments
These backgrounds often provide valuable practical understanding of welds, fatigue and structural behaviour.

Salary packages are offered within a base range of $115,000 – $220,000, depending on:
• Experience
• Qualifications and certifications
• Industry background
• Attitude and work ethic
• Ability to contribute to the team
Senior salary levels are typically achieved by technicians with multiple advanced inspection qualifications, which may include combinations of:
• MT Level 2
• PT Level 2
• UT Level 2 (including weld inspection)
• Advanced ultrasonic methods (e.g. PAUT)
• Eddy Current Testing (ET)
• Weld inspection certifications
• Pressure vessel inspection qualifications (API / AICIP)
Limitless operates a tiered technician structure, meaning technicians who demonstrate reliability, capability and leadership can progress through levels quickly with corresponding salary increases.
