MACKAY, Australia – Wednesday 22 January 2025 – Finesse Engineering Services Mining and Marine has acquired Richie’s Engineering Services in Queensland, Australia, on Wednesday 22 January 2025.
Richie’s Engineering Services (RES) has over the past 20 years entrenched itself as a reliable and innovative quality service provider to the mining and construction industry.
“What started as humble beginnings has grown into a significant company offering a wide range of high-quality services in the mining and construction industry,” says Richie Bugeja, founder and owner of RES.
“I believe that it is time for the company to receive the injection of youth and energy and alongside the team we have in place to do that already, we have decided that new ownership bringing the knowledge of mining and construction and a powerful field service presence, will take RES to a new level. Thank you to all our loyal customers over the years. You are in good hands.”
Under the new ownership, which has just recently been finalised, Nick Coppleman and Luke Denton from Finesse Engineering Services take control of RES with immediate effect and bring with them more that 30 years collective experience in serving customers at the highest level across Australia.
“We are extremely excited to have cemented the deal to acquire RES as it adds great value extension to our current business dealings which include field and on-site services,” said Nick. “We understand this industry and the needs customers have for efficient and effective solutions, coupled with the after sales service one expects in such a demanding environment.”
