🚨 WE’RE HIRING – TRADES ASSISTANT (SIGNWRITING & INSTALLATION) 🚨

Custom Signs & Safety is looking for a reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant to join our busy signwriting and installation team!

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working with tools, and being part of a fast-paced team environment.

✅ About the Role:
You’ll be assisting our signwriters and installers with a range of duties including:
• Cleaning and preparing vehicles for signage
• Assisting with sign removal and installation
• Handling materials and equipment
• Using power tools safely and efficiently
• General workshop and on-site support
• Working both indoors and outdoors

🔧 What We’re Looking For:
• Good knowledge and confident use of power tools
• Physically fit and strong (lifting and manual handling required)
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work in a team environment
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Driver’s licence preferred

Sign industry experience is a bonus but not essential – attitude and work ethic are key!

🥳Birthday Celebrations 🥳

Our apprentice Jayce turned 18 yesterday so we continued the festivities and celebrated with a cake today 🎂

Before starting with us full time, Jayce attended his school work placement block, where he showed great initiative and dedication. After keeping in contact Jayce accepted a full time position once he finished school and has now been officially signed up as an apprentice. It’s been fantastic watching your growth already and excited to see you continue your development of skills in signwriting.

🌟 What a week! 🌟
Last week, the some of our team headed to Sydney for the PacPrint trade show – and what an experience it was! From cutting-edge print tech to the latest in signage innovation, we soaked up ideas, inspiration, and a ton of industry knowledge.

It was a great opportunity to connect with suppliers, explore new tools, and bring back some exciting ideas for our clients. 🚀

While we were in town, we also made time to enjoy Vivid Sydney – the city absolutely came alive with light and creativity! 🌃✨ A perfect way to unwind after a big day at the show.

Thanks to everyone we met at PacPrint – we’re feeling inspired and ready to put some new ideas into action. Stay tuned!

We have several large fleet clients with many vehicles to wrap and need a a suitably qualified individual to assist with these installations.

💥Full removal and re-wrap of one of our customers fibreglass car carriers. We had originally wrapped this trailer in Avery Carbon fibre back in 2014 😳 and after 10 years it was time for a freshen up ✨ This time we went for a full gloss carbon look from Hexis and it turned out mint👌
