How 'bout that rain? Unusual as it was, it didn't dampen our spirits at BNI Pioneer's meeting this morning.

Today's feature presenter was Kim from Premier Spending Planners - Financial Wealth Coach . Kim walked us through a great case study and success story, showing us how she can not only help you survive, but financially thrive! As always Kim, you do amazing work!!

The excitement didn't stop there with great 60s bouncing around the room today. David from TranTech Computers is growing and is keen to take on more new clients, Tamica from Tempus Design Studio Pty Ltd is riding the award season wave with her (already award winning designs) now open for voting in the BDAQ State Design Awards Peoples Choice Awards - go check out their page for links to all their entries. We also had some excellent subs today too; special mentions to Jason from Tailored Services Pty Ltd for standing in for Marg of Deluxe Wheelie Wash and Junior who delivered his first 60 second presentation as a sub for Josh from Joshua Saunders - Mortgage Broker in Mackay. Junior did such a great job, he was given this week's award! Well done!!

Tuesday, what a day!!! Another productive breakfast meeting to get the week going.

Today we renewed membership for a couple of outstanding members; Belinda from Inside Out Nutritional Therapy and Todd from Tropical Pest Control Mackay.

From the oldies to a newbie; our feature presenter this week was Josh from Joshua Saunders - Mortgage Broker in Mackay. A feature presentation is a 10 minute presentation on the topic of the presenters choice. A great way for our members to introduce themselves, their family, interests and hobbies or to give more detailed information about their business. Either way it is about making a connection. It was excellent getting to know more about Josh. And lovely to meet his partner, Lia.

As usual the standard of 60s was exceptional with Kim from Premier Spending Planners - Financial Wealth Coach sharing a wonderful update from one of her clients who has been going from financial strength to strength. Rod from Cartridge World Australia also shared with us his incredible achievement for the month of May. Rod and his team have been sending away their toner cartridges to Close the Loop so that they can be recycled and turned into other useful products. In May Rod recycled a whopping 22.58kg in toner cartridges that might otherwise have ended up in landfill. Well done, we're extremely proud of your achievement Rod!!

The award this week was handed to Mel from M2 Signs; despite having lost her voice she cast the perfect fellow group member to read her 60 on her behalf. Great job Todd for catching us all off guard!

Where did Tuesday go?? It started with yet another fun filled BNI Pioneer meeting but the day seemed to escape through our hands (not unlike the year; can you believe its June already!)

A great presentation from Lyn of Torque Tyres & Trailer Spares Mackay. Lyn taught us all about the different types of tyres and which ones best suit your vehicle. It was very informative and I think we all walked away having learnt something!

Rhondell from Hanron Health & Success, a BNI Pioneer OG, renewed for another year of doing business the Pioneer way!

Loads of great 60 second presentations again this morning; Kim from Premier Spending Planners - Financial Wealth Coach sprung a pop quiz on us. Haley from Tailored Services Pty Ltd services followed suit quizzing us on the touch points within the office and politely handing out hand sanitiser (she definitely didn't peg them around the room) to the correct answers. She took home the award this week and in true form she sanitised it before accepting it.

On with the rest of the wee before it too gets away from us!

It's Tuesday again! Another early start, another progressive morning with excellent Mackay businesses.

The room was vibrant this morning with lots of business referrals bouncing around. Tell your friends, Deluxe Wheelie Wash is on their way to Sarina tomorrow (Wednesday, 26th May); they'll be available to wash all domestic and commercial bins and give your driveways a clean too! Mel from M2 Signs also shared the exciting news of their HUGE newly constructed sign in North Mackay; on the Bruce Highway, just behind the Hungry Jacks/Shell Servo. Prime positing to capture all the traffic heading out of town, Northern Beaches, Mt Pleasant and North Mackay!! This week's award went to Stu from Standout Electrical for getting on with the job and helping is customers out.

We were also treated a great presentation form the incredibly talented Liz from Liz Andrews Photography & Design. Liz is an highly skilled, hard working photographer and today she shared her knowledge on how to pose for the perfect photo and showed how she can transform and ordinary group staff photo into something dynamic and eye catching. Always informative and interesting Liz!

Another week, another Tuesday, another breakfast meeting for BNI Pioneer!!

This week Stu from Standout Electrical gave his first feature presentation. The first one is always hard but it's a great opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to the whole group. Stu gave a very insightful presentation along with a gentle reminder for landlords and anyone who is thinking of selling this year to upgrade your smoke alarms.

As usual, a very informative and vibrant "60 Seconds" around the table this moring with Todd from Tropical Pest Control Mackay expanding his business and looking for another Pest Technician. Dr Lucas from Anderson Family Chiropractic Health Centre urgeing us to get those niggly little pains checked out before they become something much worse and Rondell from Hanron Health & Success gave us the solution to reducing that oxidative stress within our body and re-energising with her powerful supplements.

This week's weekly presentation winner went to Bianca from Say I Do Celebrancy and Jody from Wild Posy Co. . Jody recently celebrated her 10 year wedding anniversary by renewing her vows. An epic little collaboration for our amazing power team of Celebrant, Florist and Photographer (Liz Andrews Photography & Design).

Time to kick some more goals this week, another long weekend awaits!! See you on the other side..

It's Tuesday and you know what that means? BNI day. One of the added bonuses of hauling yourself out of bed for an early morning breakfast meeting is getting to see the sunrise.

Our "60 seconds" took on a nautical theme this week; Beth from Statewide Conveyancing knows the ropes for leasing a berth at the Mackay Marina, Mel from M2 Signs and her knot too shabby digital sign stand for the local Port and something about sailors...or sea men? The weekly award went to Simone from Go Regional for her lifetime membership for those local business that hopped on board with the local directory and helped get it off the ground! Thanks so much for your generosity Simone!

Good morning. Is it Friday already? Where has the week gone! So busy I've hardly had time to reflect on this week's meeting.

Of course we had a very top notch presentation from David of Gardian but the best part was hearing about your Bolivian Jail story 🐕

We heard plenty of life hacks from our group too; how to avoid being rejected from Josh at Joshua Saunders - Mortgage Broker in Mackay and Shaun from NB Industries gave us the insight on how much a roadworthy should be costing you. But the weekly presentation award (we need a better name, suggestions?) went to Stu from Standout Electrical for commencing his first new home project. From strength to strength mate, good work!

Well another week is almost over. Sorry again for the delay, here's to a beautiful weekend and another glorious week of doing business in paradise...I mean Mackay 😉

Heading to BNI on Tuesday morning was a bit like today's weather; it's always a little hard going at the beginning but by the time we're finished the sun is shining and we're ready to kick goals for another week.

Today we welcomed two new members; Josh from Joshua Saunders - Mortage Broker in Mackay and Lyn from Torque Tyres & Trailer Spares Mackay and welcomed continued membership from David of Gardian Real Estate. It was also the first day of our new Leadership term which means new faces in our leadership roles. Looking forward to forging ahead and doing excellent business together.

Feature speaker today was from the endless fountain of knowledge we affectionately call Bel of Inside Out Nutritional Therapy. Our group has grown somewhat over the last few months so Bel gave us a back to basics presentation about her qualifications and how she grew her business into the amazing practice it is today. If you've been struggling with your health, even if it's just something small and niggly, give Bel...a bell! The work she does is truly amazing and many of our members offer incredible pwrsonal testimonials for her.

Taking the baton from Shaun of NB Industries , Jody from Wild Posy Co. was this weeks "Oscar" (do we need a new name?) for her "mask you can't breath in" - a wearable piece of floral art to be used for an up coming photo shoot.

Time to get out and enjoy the sunshine while it's still here and make the most of this beautiful day! Looking forward to doing it all over again next week!!

How 'bout that rain? Not even the damp could keep us crazy Pioneer's away from our Tuesday morning meeting.

Lots of great business making rounds at the table this morning. Jody from Wild Posy Co. got an early reminder in for ANZAC Day which is coming up in a few weeks. Don't forget to order your wreath nice and early!

We also got the inside scoop on not one but TWO fabulous new employment opportunities; Trantech are looking for a stellar Office Manager to support their growing workforce and M2 Signs are looking for a part-time Administrator to join their dynamic team!! Desipite his nerves, Shaun from NB Industries gave an excellent presentation with insights into his passions outside of fixing cars and his beautiful family. Time certainly has made you bolder, and your children are getting older. Writing this has made me older too! (Hehe)

Of course, many of our members gave glowing testimonials to Shaun about the quality of his service. Its hard not to, he's a very genuine person and delivers a very open and upfront service... oh about those wiper blades Shaun..

Tuesday just seemed to get away from me yesterday. Another early morning filled with the kind of positive outlook that only BNI Pioneer can deliver at 7am.

Another amazing meeting with a room filled with plenty of visitors and guests! This week we renewed membership for our Networking Queen, Haley from Tailored Services Pty Ltd.
