IT Support Engineer Position Available

Full-time | Mackay QLD | Immediate Start

Scarlet IT Solutions is looking for a capable, motivated IT Support Engineer to step into a senior role. If you enjoy variety, take initiative, and want a role where your input genuinely matters, this is the place to be.
You’ll work across server environments, cloud technologies, desktop support, and hands-on client work — while also helping guide junior staff and contributing to the smooth running of the business.

About the Role

Support and maintain Windows Server and core infrastructure.
Work within the Microsoft 365 cloud ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).
Provide desktop support across software, hardware and general troubleshooting.
Configure and support medium scale networks including Firewalls, VPN, VLAN etc
Assist junior staff with Point of Sale installations and workshop jobs.
Support and configure cloud based phone systems.
Provide general guidance and support to junior technicians.
Work both onsite and remotely across a diverse client base.
After-hours on-call rotation required (rolling roster)

What We’re Looking For

3+ years in an MSP or similar IT support role.
Strong understanding of Windows Server, networking, and desktop support.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration.
Familiarity with POS systems and peripherals advantageous.
Experience in VoIP platforms (3CX preferred).
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Full Australian work rights and a valid driver’s license.

*General administrative duties including filing and document management
*Creating and managing jobs in our CRM system
