Having been a Recruiter for the past 5 years & an Employment Specialist for 1 year. I am well aware of what Employers look for when trying to find the right candidate. I am very careful in my selection of words and the criteria I present and how its presented. I do back ground checks on the company you are interested in, to find what it is they are looking for and what criteria they are following,
this also helps me to construct the resume better. I was prior to being a Recruiter a multi skilled machinery operator in an open cut coal mine. I held Haul Trucks, Water Trucks, Graders, Dozers & Loader tickets operating on both coal and overburden. Also spent time in the service bay and the mine services pump crew. Along with this I held the position of trainer assessor, training and development, mining and maintenance administration & training. Holding these roles has helped me to get a full overview of the roles and responsibilities in both mining operations and maintenance, along with training and development. I have recruited for companies such as BMA, RIO TINTO, Anglo & also ADANI, construction, transport and logistics along with administration roles and the day to day roles of kitchen hands, and cleaners, service utilities also these are known as. I find it very interesting how each company recruits and what they look for. Each really do seek different criteria. I enjoy creating and tidying up resumes and also creating the cover letters.
