Downunder Group Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Tyre Fitters for ongoing opportunities across multiple Bowen Basin coal mine sites.

These positions offer long-term opportunities on 7/7 rosters working within established maintenance teams across Queensland coal mining operations.

FIFO, BIBO and DIDO options available depending on site requirements.

To be considered, candidates must hold:
• AUR21920 Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical

Adam was one of our local leaders who slept rough to raise awareness and funds to support homelessness in Mackay. Over $21k was raised to go towards operationalising our Safe Sleep Buses👏🙏

This one means a lot to us.

Norman Snell — Adam’s Pop.
A soldier who came home, but carried the war with him for the rest of his life.

He didn’t talk much about it. He just got on with life… built a family, showed up, and stood quietly strong — like so many of his generation.

Today isn’t just about history for us. It’s personal. It’s about remembering the man behind the medals, and the lifetime that followed his service.

We’re proud to share this tribute to Adam’s Pop, and to honour everything he gave — both during the war and every day after.

Today we stand together to honour the service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served.

On ANZAC Day, we reflect on the courage shown in the face of adversity, the strength found in unity, and the spirit of looking after one another, both on and off the field.

These values continue to shape who we are today. In our workplaces, on site, and in our communities, we carry forward that same respect, resilience, and commitment to each other.

Downunder Group Solutions proudly acknowledges all who have served, past and present, and extends our gratitude to the families who support them.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
