Cylinder rods are re-chromed primarily to enhance wear resistance, reduce friction, and improve corrosion resistance, thus extending the lifespan of hydraulic cylinders. Rechroming is a cost effective repair option compared to replacing the entire cylinder.

✅️ Barrel Honing & Machining: We provide precision honing and machining to ensure your parts meet the highest standards. Cylinder barrels are honed to improve the surface finish and ensure a proper seal between the piston rings and cylinder walls. Honing removes imperfections, creates a cross-hatch pattern for lubrication, and restores the correct cylinder shape.

The boys have been at it, and we've got another CAT 3512 genset engine fresh off the rebuild line, now prepped and ready to hit the dyno for its run up and reliability testing.

This engine has undergone a comprehensive rebuild process, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly with genuine CAT parts, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

The engine will now undergo a series of dyno tests to validate its performance and reliability. These tests are crucial for ensuring the engine operates within its design parameters and is ready to withstand the demanding environments across all industries.

Another Full Rebuild Complete!

We’ve just recently wrapped up a complete rebuild on a 3512 engine, and there’s nothing like seeing all the hard work come together in a finished product. From teardown to final assembly, every bolt and component has been handled with precision and pride 💪🏽

This beauty is rated at 1451 horsepower (1082 kW) at 1750 rpm is part of CAT's 3500 series of heavy duty diesel engines, commonly used in marine, industrial, and power generation applications.
