Belousoff Consulting is looking for suitability qualified Health and Safety Specialists/professionals for roles in Central Queensland.
The candidate will ideally have:
1. At least 5 years experience working at a Qld coal mine in a Specialist or Superintendent leadership role and have a strong working knowledge of the intent of Qld Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence health, safety and training outcomes at an open cut coal mine
3. Advanced Diploma of OHS or equivalent
4. A strong working knowledge of Risk Management including holding a RIIRIS601 competency (mandatory) and RIIWHS 601 (desirable) and have current experience with the facilitation of risk assessments
5. TAE (desirable but not mandatory)
6. Hold a current coal board medical and Standard 11
7. Hold a Light Vehicle Drivers licence
8. Positive mature attitude
9. Confidentiality
This is a drive in drive out or fly in fly out medium term contract which requires on site attendance. Accommodation is provided. Flexible work arrangements may be considered.

Rest on Peace

Today we remember the lives of the 12 miners killed in the Moura number 4 coal mine at Moura 30 years ago.

We also remember the 13 miners lost in the 1975 Kianga No.1 mine accident; and the 11 killed in 1994 in the Moura No.2 mine accident.

May they rest in peace, and our thoughts are with their families and colleagues on this day.
