🚨 Important Update: Subclass 407 Training Visa Changes
From 11 March 2026, new rules apply for applicants of the Subclass 407 Training Visa.
📌 What’s changing?
Before you can lodge a valid visa application:
✅ Your sponsor must first be approved as a Temporary Activities Sponsor.
✅ Your sponsor must have an approved nomination for your training position.
❗ (This requirement does not apply if the sponsor is a Commonwealth government agency.)
⚠️ This means applicants cannot lodge the visa application until both approvals are in place.
If you are planning to apply for the 407 Training Visa, make sure your sponsorship and nomination are approved first to avoid delays or invalid applications.
