We are all currently prepping our Rigs for a wild Cape York trip in Sept.
Leaving the end of September and dropping into our mates 4x4 FILTH on the way for our final prep and some local info.

Picked up another 80 series roller chassis today.
Its 94 model with diffs, steering and everything we need to build our 40/80
Just need an LS1 and 5 speed box and we are on.
Will be using Billy McKinnon body and tray mounts plus tube guards etc.
Lawrie from Lawrance Smith has been a great help too.
Ive given my other chassis to a mate for his build.
Have so many parts kicking around now its nuts.
First job tomorrow will be to clean the chassis with our awesome Underbody Cleaner and degreaser.

Drove 14hrs on the weekend to collect my 80 series chassis Im using for our FJ 45 cab on a 80 series chassis.
Had some great shops already helping out with parts and info.
Lawrance Smith 79 series fuel tank kit
TGRHQ home of Opposite Lock Sunshine Coast for the Superior engineering arms
Billy McKinnon for the direction on parts to get, engine to use etc
Lachlan Hendry for info on the whole build process and fitting an LS1
Fun project coming up in my limited spare time.

From racing Pro Motocross and Supercross for 20+ years with my best mate (and chemist), to building Groundswell from the ground up.

We spent years travelling the country in vans — sleeping roadside, at tracks, wherever we could. Along the way, we were constantly making our own bike washes, chain l***s, degreasers, air filter oils… it never stopped. (Our mate makes the biggest motocross range in Aus)

After stepping away from racing, we took that same mindset into the 4x4 world.

Countless hours testing products in our backyard at Teewah Beach and Double Island Point — refining, improving, pushing for better.

We spent 2 years perfecting the range before ever going to market. No shortcuts.

Now 3+ years in, we’ve built a lineup of 30+ products — and we’re only getting started.
