What a fantastic on-line event the CIBSE ANZ Young Engineers Awards were. Great to see over 80 people logged in for the presentations.

VOS Group are privileged to be one of the official CIBSE partners and have a long association with one of the awards.
The Mark Griffin Student of the Year. Mark was a long time employee eventually become the Director of Engineering at VOS Group.

Congratulations to the winners, Vivian Kha, Neyra Nie & Arky Elston.

Very fitting to see so many from the industry come back to the VOS Group social lounge virtual table to chat and reminisce.

Great to be on board again this year as an event partner.

An event like this is only made possible when the industry comes together to support it. In times of difficulty it is more important than ever to support and recognise the exceptional talent and thinking that will solve our industries biggest threats and challenges.

The notification today of a Sydney wide lockdown means we will all be working from home until further notice. This means our recently installed office entry signage will go unseen until the 12th of July at least. Upon our return to the office keep an eye out for our new entry and corporate imagery. Looks schmick!

On the eve of a potential shutdown in Sydney it was great to be able to get some of the office together, (earlier this week) to welcome our new engineer Behshad to VOS Group with greet and an informal office breakfast.

As part of Reconciliation week it was terrific to have our management team discussing how we can be more aware of first nation peoples issues, and concerns particularly on culturally sensitive projects. Listening and understanding at an early stage can only enhance the outcome for all. Its a learning curve for all but at least it is being discussed with an open mind.
