✨ NEW SOUTH WALES BUSINESS AWARDS 2026 ✨

Last Friday, I had the privilege of attending the NSW Business Awards and supporting my clients from EHD Concrete Sleepers alongside some incredible businesses from across New South Wales.

For EHD, the past few months have been extraordinary.

From being named Shoalhaven Business of the Year, to taking out the Illawarra Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing Award, and then going on to represent our region as a finalist at the NSW Business Awards.

That is something to be incredibly proud of.

To James, the EHD team and everyone who has contributed behind the scenes, congratulations. Thank you for allowing me to share in this journey with you. It has been pretty special to watch.

A huge congratulations as well to Red Fox Pilates on reaching the state finals, and the biggest congratulations to Alison and the team from nowra.org on taking out a state award on the night. What an achievement. 👏

The room was full of outstanding businesses, big ideas, hard work and people doing extraordinary things right across NSW.

And after a very busy few months of awards, events, celebrations and milestones, it feels like the perfect time to bring the focus firmly back to what comes next.

Back to business.
Back to strategy.
Back to growth.
Back to improving.
Back to transforming.

Because the awards are wonderful, but the real work is what happens next.

Here’s to building stronger businesses, creating new opportunities and making the next chapter even better than the last.

💙 WISHING OUR CLIENTS AT EHD THE VERY BEST OF LUCK AT THE NSW BUSINESS AWARDS! 🏆

Tomorrow evening, we’ll have the absolute pleasure of joining our wonderful clients, EHD Concrete Sleepers, at the 2026 NSW Business Awards at the ICC, Darling Harbour.

And what an incredible journey it’s been!

Great pre comp coffee catch up with the ladies ☕️
IT’S NATIONALS WEEK - PARADISE DANCE LADIES 💚

A great morning together before heading into our final week of training, with just a little practice squeezed in before the ladies take to the stage at The Concourse, Willoughby this weekend.

For our founder Tanya, regional business extends far beyond the worksite or the office. Community involvement, connection and showing up for the people around you is such a big part of regional life and regional business.

Tanya is incredibly proud to be a teacher and long time supporter of Paradise Physie and Dance, and to be part of a club filled with so many wonderful women and families from across the Shoalhaven.

Wishing all of our special Paradise ladies the very best for a massive Nationals weekend.

Enjoy every minute, ladies. We’ll be cheering you on! 💚

LADIES NATIONALS WEEK 💚
Pre comp coffee with some of our Paradise ladies ☕️

This morning was our last Tuesday morning practice session of the year as our beautiful Paradise ladies get ready to hit the stage at The Concourse, Willoughby this weekend for Ladies Nationals.

Three massive days of competition ahead, and we are so excited to see every one of our ladies out there performing. 💚

We finished our Tuesday mornings the best way we know how… coffee, plenty of laughs, a little bit of carrying on and, somewhere in between, some serious practice too. 😂

Wishing all of our ladies the very best for the final few days of training. Enjoy the lead up, back yourselves and soak up every bit of Nationals week.

We cannot wait to be there cheering you all on this weekend.

Paradise ladies, it’s your week. 💚✨

THIS WAS HILARIOUS. 😂

Content shoots don’t always go to plan… and this one definitely didn’t.

I think Mason and I ended up with more bloopers than actual content, but we had an absolute laugh doing it. 😂

One of the best parts of working with regional businesses is getting in there, creating content and having a bit of fun along the way.

We take business seriously. Ourselves? Not so much.

What a fantastic opportunity today to present at the Nowra Show Society’s Young Women’s Program!

It was inspiring to meet young woman from across the state, from Dubbo to Dapto, Wagga to Wyong.

I’m especially proud of these two Local Ladies, Charli and Alaska! I’ve known them both since they were littlies, and seeing them get involved makes me so happy. I know they’ll do an outstanding job representing our region.

I delivered a workshop on public speaking, confidence and presentation. We had a giggle, shared some valuable insights and put it all into practice!

Good luck to all the young women heading towards the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It was so lovely to meet you, and I’ll be cheering you on!

A big thank you to James, Jess and Imogen from the Nowra Show Society for inviting me to be part of this year’s program.

The next Nowra Show will be their 150th Show, and it’s shaping up to be an incredible one!

In the lead up, the ‘Saddles and Sashes’ event will be held in the Shoalhaven on 7 November. Head over to the Nowra Show page for all the details!

WHAT IS THE REGIONAL BUSINESS ROOM?

The simplest answer?

We help regional businesses move forward.

Sometimes that means better marketing and getting your business seen by more of the right people.

Sometimes it means improving the systems behind the scenes, fixing a process, introducing automation, or working out how AI can genuinely save you time.

Sometimes you need a new website, stronger social media, better follow up, more visibility, publicity, or a fresh strategy to bring in more business.

And sometimes you simply need the right introduction, a different perspective, or someone who understands regional business to sit down with you and work out what comes next.

That’s why we created The Regional Business Room.

Our work sits across five key areas:

CONNECT
People, partnerships, industry, opportunities, networks and communities.

GROW
Sales, leads, marketing, visibility, customers and new opportunities.

IMPROVE
Processes, operations, productivity, efficiency, systems and profitability.

TRANSFORM
Technology, AI, automation, systems, modernisation and strategic change.

ENERGISE
Fresh thinking, ideas, direction, accountability, confidence and momentum.

We’re not here to hand you a generic report and disappear.

We’re practical.

We get involved.

We make introductions.

We find opportunities.

We create the marketing.

We help implement the systems.

We work through the problems.

And when we don’t have the answer, chances are we know someone who does.

Because regional businesses deserve access to the same expertise, technology, marketing and opportunities available anywhere else, without losing the relationships and community that make doing business regionally different.

Practical business support. Powerful connections.

For real regional Australian businesses.

If there’s something in your business that needs growing, fixing, changing, or simply a fresh set of eyes, send us a message and tell us what you’re trying to solve.

Great to catch up with Jordan from Gateway Plumbing this morning at the EHD Tradie Brekkie.

I’ve recently connected with Jordan through the Shoalhaven Business Network, and we quickly realised we had a lot more connections in common than we first thought through previous business programs, people we’ve worked with and the local business community.

Such a small world.

Jordan is doing some really great things with Gateway Plumbing, so it was good to have a proper catch up this morning, talk business and get to know a little more about what he’s building.

This is one of the things I genuinely love about regional business. You meet good people, connections overlap, conversations turn into opportunities, and strong local relationships start to form.

That’s a big part of what The Regional Business Room is about too. Connecting people, supporting local businesses and helping create stronger regional business communities.

Thanks to the EHD team for bringing local tradies and businesses together this morning. Always good to see collaboration happening across the Shoalhaven.

💙 PROUD TO SUPPORT OUR CLIENTS AT EHD

Tomorrow morning, our clients at EHD Retaining Wall Products / EHD Concrete Sleepers are opening the gates for their Big Shoalhaven Tradie Brekkie.

It’s exactly the kind of local business initiative we love seeing — bringing together tradies, builders, landscapers, contractors, suppliers and local businesses for a relaxed morning of connection, conversation and community.

We’ve been busy getting it all together and there’ll be a free hot brekkie, Frankie’s Coffee Van, Team Shoalhaven BBR Inc on the BBQ, and the chance to check out EHD’s new SuperSleeper composite sleeper range in person.

📅 Wednesday 14 October
⏰ 6am–8am
📍 EHD HQ | 1/110A Albatross Road, South Nowra

A big thank you to the Shoalhaven Business Chamber for helping share the event across the local business community.

If you’re part of the Shoalhaven trade or business network, pop in before work, grab some brekkie and say hello.

This is regional business at its best — local people, local relationships and local businesses backing each other.

From all of us at The Regional Business Room / AI Academy Elite, we hope EHD has a brilliant morning.

See you all there! 💙

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | SELECT SITE SOLUTIONS
We’re pretty happy with how this one came together. 👏

A great content project for our client Select Site Solutions, bringing together strategy, planning, production, a great spokesperson and plenty of real business action.

A huge shout out to our production partners Innovisuals, who brought the magic behind the camera, and to Corey from Be The Vibe , who was definitely the vibe. 🔥

From the initial concept through to filming, content strategy and rollout, this is the kind of project we love working on at The Regional Business Room.

And the result has been more than just a great looking reel.

It’s given Select Site Solutions premium content they can continue to use across their marketing, while helping build their social media exposure, engagement and overall brand presence.

That’s what good marketing should do.

Look professional.
Tell the right story.
Reach the right people.
And support the growth of the business behind it.

At The Regional Business Room, we love planning and collaborating on projects like this for regional businesses and bringing the right people together to make them happen.

If your business could use practical business support, fresh marketing ideas or a strategy that actually gets implemented, we’d love to have a conversation.

And if your need a skip bin in the Shoalhaven
Select Site Solutions is the way to go!
