Just a few samples to get through.

We were out on site with a client recently, getting a proper look at what’s happening on the ground.

Site visits are a big part of how we work at Entech. Get out there, talk to the people closest to the project, see the geology for yourself and understand what’s actually happening beyond the models and spreadsheets.

Occasionally, we also get to admire an aesthetically pleasing collection of sample bags. All part of the job ☺️

RocketDNA ’s control room looks like something straight out of a movie. Except everything on the screens is very real.

The Entech team recently headed to RocketDNA's Perth HQ in Osborne Park, where Chris Clark and Evan McKern took us through their latest drone hardware, in-house software and Remote Operations Centre. Safe to say, we were impressed.

RocketDNA is taking a lot of the manual legwork out of drone surveying. Their autonomous drone-in-a-box systems can handle repeat survey and data capture missions remotely, getting current aerial data back to mine teams faster while freeing up surveyors for the work that actually needs them.

Less time organising flights and more frequent data means better information for the people making decisions.

Then there’s the control room. Photos probably don’t do it justice.

These guys are the real deal, and we reckon there would be very few mine sites that couldn’t find a use for what they’re doing.

If you’re a mine developer or operator and haven’t seen the setup in action, go and visit them.

It’s worth the field trip ☺️

Rare legend Tamzen very generously came through with the goods yesterday, bringing in morning tea for the whole Entech and Rare Engineering office to mark Daffodil Day.

Daffodil Day is celebrating 40 years of raising funds for life-saving cancer research and patient care, and Tamzen is doing her bit to support the cause.

A lot of what we do at Entech comes down to working closely with client teams, getting on site and understanding what’s happening on the ground. Not just what the spreadsheet says should be happening.

A few highlights from the Entech camera roll during Diggers & Dealers this year.

The FJ hit the road to Kalgoorlie and had its moment parked out the front of the Goldfields Arts Centre. Credit where it’s due, the new building housing Diggers was a very welcome upgrade 🙌

We also had a look around the WASM Wombats training facility, where traditional mining skills are still very much alive and kicking.

The team competes in the International Collegiate Mining Competition, which has been running since 1978 and honours those who have lost their lives in mining.

Events include Air Legging, Mucking, Hand Steeling, Swede Saw, Survey, Gold Pan and Track Stand. A pretty impressive bit of mining history that’s still going strong.

Finally, Tim Holmes, Scott Muir and Jason Graham hard at work during Diggers.

We checked. Apparently this counts.

The Entech team is heading to Kalgoorlie for the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum for another few days of mining conversations, familiar faces and a calendar that will fill up faster than the accommodation did.

We didn’t develop DeltaFlow to sit on a shelf. We developed it to sit inside our mining studies. Read on to find out why...

For more than three years, Entech has been working with our simulation partners to develop DeltaFlow, a Discrete Event Simulation (DES) decision-support environment designed to measure mining system capacity and improve confidence in engineering studies.

Developed alongside real mining projects, DeltaFlow combines traditional engineering analysis with DES to provide a deeper understanding of how mining systems will perform before they are implemented.

DeltaFlow enables engineers to:
▪️ Measure system capacity and utilisation.
▪️ Compare analytical engineering calculations with DES results.
▪️ Identify bottlenecks, queues and operational constraints.
▪️ Evaluate alternative mining strategies and operating philosophies.
▪️ Improve confidence in study outcomes through evidence-based decision-making.

By integrating Discrete Event Simulation into the study process, DeltaFlow bridges the gap between theoretical design and operations. It allows engineers to validate designs, quantify system performance and understand the interactions between equipment, infrastructure and production schedules before capital is committed.

We're excited to see DeltaFlow continue to mature as a core capability within Entech's mining studies and look forward to sharing more about the people and technology behind its development 😊

A big milestone for Mt Marion, with the underground mining contract now awarded.

Entech has been responsible for the geotechnical evaluations supporting the underground mines, including the assessment and design of the mine portals.

Great to see the project moving into its next phase. Congratulations to the Mineral Resources team and everyone involved 🙌
