This year’s theme, “SafeWork is for Life”, is a reminder that workplace safety is about more than getting through the working day. It’s about protecting the people, families and communities that depend on us.

This week, we’re focusing on why work health and safety matters. Every safe decision helps make sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

Daylight saving starts this Sunday, 4 October.

Clocks move forward one hour at 2am, so don’t forget to adjust watches, vehicles, machinery and anything else that doesn’t update automatically.

One less hour in the weekend, but a little more daylight at the end of the day.
