🎯 Got a set of numbers you always come back to?
Oz Lotto is drawn tonight, Tuesday 3 November, with a $60 million Division 1 jackpot. Seven winning numbers and three supplementary numbers are drawn from 1 to 47.

A marked entry is where you pick your own seven numbers. Birthdays, anniversaries, the house number from your first place, maybe just the ones that feel right. Mark them on an Oz Lotto entry form and bring it to the counter.

Never filled one in before? Forms are here in store, and our team are always happy to show you how it works.

Which numbers would make it onto your form?

📅 Monday 2nd, Wednesday 4th and Friday 6th November are Double Your Win draws for Weekday Windfall.

So how does it work? Any entry that wins a prize in Divisions 2 to 6 has that prize automatically doubled. There’s no special entry and nothing extra to tick on your form, it just applies to every Weekday Windfall entry in those draws.

Everything else stays the same as usual. Six winning numbers and two supplementary numbers are drawn from 1 to 45, and there are still up to six Division 1 prizes of $1 million each draw. You can play with a QuickPick, a marked entry, a System entry or one of our in-store syndicates, and our team are happy to explain any of them if you’re not sure which suits you.

Which night do you usually play, Monday, Wednesday or Friday?

✏️ Anyone else keep a crossword book in the car, the handbag or next to the couch?

The new Handy Crosswords from Lovatts is in, Issue 159 for Nov/Dec 2026. It’s the smaller size, so it fits in a bag easily, and there are 65+ puzzles inside. Good for the waiting room, the school pick up line or a quiet cuppa.

What I like is that every puzzle is made by real people, right here in Australia. There’s a solid mix of classic crosswords too, plus some themed ones covering entertainment, geography and a few cryptics if you like a bit of a challenge.

Pop in and grab a copy next time you’re in, it’s a handy one to keep on you over the busy end of year.

Are you a pen or pencil crossword person? And be honest, do you ever peek at the answers?

🎉 It’s Superdraw Saturday!
Tonight’s Saturday Lotto has a Division 1 prize pool of $20 million. Superdraws usually bring a bit of a buzz to the counter, and it’s nice to see familiar faces dropping in to talk about their entries.

We’ve still got in-store syndicate tickets available today. They’re ready-made shares in a bigger entry, so there’s nothing for you to organise. Just let our team know at the counter and they’ll go through what’s available.

Whether your entry’s already sorted or you’re popping in later today, we’d love to see you.

Do you have a Superdraw ritual? Same numbers, same store, same spot on the couch when the draw’s on?

Whether your printer's a Canon, Brother, Epson or HP, we stock genuine ink and toner across the board. It means you're not gambling on compatibility or print quality, you're getting exactly what your printer was designed for.

We know it's not always obvious which cartridge matches which printer, so if you're ever unsure just bring in the old one (or a photo of it) and we'll match it up for you.

🎯 Oz Lotto is sitting at $50 million tonight!
Tonight’s Oz Lotto Division 1 jackpot is an estimated $50 million. It’s the kind of number that gets a few conversations going at the counter, and we’ve been hearing plenty of “what would you do with it” chat.

There are a few ways to play. You can grab a QuickPick, mark your own favourite numbers, try a System entry, or buy a share in one of our in-store syndicates if you’d rather play as part of a group. Our team is always happy to walk you through the options.

🎄 Christmas baking, garden daydreams and a bit of holiday crafting... the December 2026 issue of Better Homes and Gardens has the festive season pretty well covered.

Let’s start with the food, because to be honest that’s where my eyes went first. There’s a whole collection of easy festive slice recipes, including a trifle slice that looks like it belongs front and centre on the Christmas table. And if pavlova is non-negotiable at your place, there’s one topped with choccy Christmas crack. I mean, why not.

For the gardeners, there’s a lovely feature on heritage gardens, with Aussie cottage style, heirloom seeds to grow and some nostalgic blooms making a comeback. Charlie also shares his top pet-friendly plants, handy if you’ve got a four-legged helper digging around out the back.

Then there’s a section full of homemade gift ideas and holiday craft for the kids, plus how to quilt your own Christmas tree skirt. And if you’re thinking about a summer getaway, they’ve rounded up 7 of the best local motels for a retro road trip.

Pop in and grab your copy, it’s a nice one to have on the coffee table over the break.

So what’s the one dish that has to be on your Christmas table? Pavlova, trifle, or something else?

🎟️ Have you heard? There’s a Saturday Lotto Superdraw coming up next weekend.

On Saturday 31 October, the Division 1 prize pool goes up to $20 million. The rest of the game doesn’t change. It’s still six winning numbers and two supplementary numbers drawn from 1 to 45.

That gives you a week to work out how you’d like to play. Some people go with a QuickPick every time, and some have numbers they’ve been marking for years. If you’d like a bigger entry without organising a group yourself, we’ve got in-store syndicates ready to go. Just grab a share at the counter.

If you’re not sure what suits you, have a chat to our team and we’ll go through the options with you.

Are you a QuickPick person, or do you have your own set of numbers?

📖 Seventy years of marriage, a guinea pig with a paintbrush, and a few stories that’ll have you putting your cuppa down. The 26 October 2026 issue of that’s life! is in.

Let’s start with the feel-good stuff. There’s a platinum couple who’ve been together 70 years and are still completely smitten with each other. Then there’s Pig-casso, the guinea pig who paints. Honestly, we didn’t know we needed that story until we saw it.

There are some incredible survival stories too. One reader shares how her hero dad saved her life after an accident with a drill, and another woman tells how something as ordinary as cutting a melon turned into a frightening accident she was lucky to come through. There’s also a lovely story from a reader who felt her nan’s spirit give her a hug.

The issue also shares Jade’s story, a heartbreaking account of betrayal during her pregnancy. It’s a tough read, but an important one.

Pop in and grab your copy next time you’re passing.
