Did you catch our last post about new anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing laws and how PTP now has extra legal obligations for certain services?

This means that we may occasionally need a little extra information, depending on your circumstances. Things like:

🪪 Government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s licence or passport
🏡Confirmation of your current residential address
📁ASIC company extracts or other corporate records
🗂️ Trust deeds or other constituent documents
👨🏽‍💼 Details of individuals who own or control an entity
✍️ Evidence of your authority to act on behalf of a person or entity

If so, you might get a request directly from Ignition, our secure client platform, to help with this. And if that's not possible, don’t worry, we'll just reach out directly to sort out another way.

Responding quickly will help keep things moving, and as always, if you have any questions, we’re available and happy to help.

From 1 July 2026, new anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing laws mean that PTP has some extra legal obligations when it comes to things like company or trust transactions and managing client funds.

If this applies to you, we may need to verify your identity and keep a few extra records, as required by law. You might get a request directly from Ignition, our secure client platform, to help with this. And if that's not possible, don’t worry, we'll reach out directly to sort it out another way.
