MSS Security is proud to announce that our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 110044) has received approval to deliver the AVI20235 Certificate II in Transport Security Protection.

This significant milestone strengthens our training capabilities and enables us to deliver transport security training in-house across our port operations nationwide. The new qualification will provide greater flexibility, consistency, and alignment with MSS Security's operational requirements, while delivering a tailored, paperless learning experience for our people and clients.

This achievement was made possible through the leadership and vision of Warren Douglas, supported by the expertise and dedication of our aviation security subject matter experts Dave Randall, Tiff Peckitt, Nathan Schrag, Sarah Meyers, and Thomas Partington-Gardner, who worked closely with the Training team to develop a practical, industry-leading program aligned with the way MSS Security operates.

Special thanks also to Sarah Fraser, National Manager Training and People Capability, for her leadership and commitment to ensuring the program supports both business outcomes and compliance with RTO standards.

Inspiring the Next Generation: Connecting with Future Leaders
Recently, MSS Security had the opportunity to attend two careers day sessions with GO Foundation scholarship students in Years 11 and 12.
Representatives from our team (Connor Diffey, Kushal Pokharel, Samantha Jones) came together to share insights into the different career pathways available within our business and the many opportunities that can exist beyond the traditional career path.

While the sessions gave students an opportunity to learn more about our industry and the roles available to them, we also had a fantastic time getting to know the students themselves. From their diverse interests and ambitions to the excitement they shared about what lies ahead, it was inspiring to hear about the futures they are working towards.

These conversations are an important reminder of the value of creating opportunities for young people to explore different career options, ask questions and see where their skills and interests could take them.
A big thank you to the students for their enthusiasm, curiosity and openness. We’re proud to play a small part in supporting the next generation as they take their next steps.

MSS ACT recently welcomed First Nations community members for an information session exploring careers in security and aviation security, and the opportunities available through the MSS Scholarship Program.

Delivered in partnership with Worldview Foundation, the session provided valuable insights into career pathways with MSS and highlighted the mentoring support available to successful scholarship recipients as they transition into employment.
