A world where the living spirits of car culture exist before crossing into ours.

Meet Raijū, the thunder beast and companion of Raijin. In our world, Raijū embodies the spirit of rally, speed, harsh terrain, snow, dirt, late nights and machines built to keep pushing.

If rally culture is where you belong, Raijū is your spirit.

But he isn’t alone.

In a nostalgic world, not too far from ours, exists the Yokai Spirits...

Here they reside with their builds, patiently waiting to enter our world

Tengu, the agile spirit of the forest, prepares his Civic to venture off and meet the other Yokai's

Soon, the world of Yōkai will intersect with ours and come to life, bringing car culture a new generation of characters, designs and collectibles

The origin of our Yōkai Spirits, shown through our own interpretation of Japanese folklore.

These artworks go back to the stories that inspired our spirits and the legends they came from.

One tells the story of Minamoto no Yorimitsu, Raikō, and Shuten dōji. Raikō and his warriors travelled to Mount Ōe to confront the feared oni Shuten dōji. A story of courage, danger and a warrior stepping into the supernatural world.

The other follows Tamamo no Mae, a beautiful and mysterious woman of the Imperial Court who was eventually revealed to be a powerful nine tailed fox spirit. Her story is one of transformation, illusion and a Yōkai hidden within the human world.

Together, the artworks form 背中合わせ SENAKA AWASE, meaning back to back.

One story follows a human entering the world of Yōkai. The other follows a Yōkai entering the world of humans.

Two stories. Two sides of the same world.

This is where our Yōkai Folklore Collection begins.

A collection exploring Japanese art, folklore and the stories behind our Yōkai Spirits, reimagined as artwork for your car.

Choose them as matching pairs or mix the designs to create your own pairing.

Somewhere between a memory, a game we grew up with, and a place that never really existed…

YOKAI WORLD.

Before they appear in our world, the spirits wander here.

Raijū moves through an endless snowstorm, surrounded by mountains, silence and the faint sound of a rally car echoing through the valley.

It feels familiar somehow.
Like loading into a PS2 game late at night.
Like remembering somewhere you’ve never actually been.

For now, it’s only Raijū.

Soon, the roads will begin to cross.
The other Yōkai will arrive.
And YOKAI WORLD will start to feel a little less empty.

Even the things you see here may eventually find their way into reality
