🚒 BIG SMILES AND BIG RED TRUCKS! 🚒
We had the absolute best time today visiting the wonderful kids and educators at Thrive Group Spring Bay ELS!

Our crew got to share some important fire safety tips, show off our gear (turns out firefighters look a little bit like astronauts!) 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
Building a fire-safe community starts young, and these kiddos are already junior safety experts! A huge thank you to the staff for having us and to the children for their amazing questions and high-fives.
Keep practicing those home fire escape plans, everyone!

Not all heroes wear capes—some wear uniforms, high-vis, and scrubs. 🦸‍♂️🚑🔥

Today is , and we want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all the paramedics, firefighters, police officers, SES volunteers, and emergency dispatchers who keep our communities safe.
They are the ones who run toward danger when everyone else is running away. They work around the clock, sacrifice time with their own families, and face the toughest situations imaginable to be there for us on our worst days.

To every first responder out there: We see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for your bravery, dedication, and sacrifice. 🙏💙❤️🚒🚓

A great message from our mates at Tasmania Police 🚔 🌧

Is it raining where you are? ☔️

Heavy rainfall is forecast for southern Tasmania.

Please drive to the conditions and take your time getting to wherever you need to go.

If you're driving in wet conditions, remember:
⚠️ Slow down and drive with caution
⚠️ Put your headlights on
⚠️ Leave extra space between vehicles
⚠️ Never drive through a flooded road
⚠️ Always obey road closure signs
⚠️ Look out for hazards on the roads

Drive safely everyone! 👮‍♀️👍

🌫️ Driving in the fog today? Slow down and stay safe!🚗
Dense fog can turn familiar roads into major hazards in an instant. Drop your speed, leave plenty of space between you and the car ahead, and make sure to use your **low-beam headlights** or fog lights (high-beams will just reflect the glare back at you!).

Give yourself extra time and let’s make sure everyone gets to their destination safely.
Safe travels!
