📣 Today we heard from Brad Ferguson of Bookeze, our resident bookkeeper! Brad shared his bookkeeping insights, introduced us to the talented team behind Bookeze and left us with a few handy tips to keep our businesses running smoothly. It was clear, practical and full of the know-how every business owner needs.
No wonder Bookeze is a dual award-winning bookkeeping company! 🏆

Well done, Brad. Thanks for sharing your expertise with the chapter.

🏆 Congratulations to Peter Taylor from 2020 Business Consulting, this week’s winner of the Golden Eagle Wings of Persuasion trophy for best infomercial!

Peter got into the Halloween spirit with a spooky themed infomercial that had the whole room grinning. It was creative, memorable and a perfect example of how a little fun can make your message stick. 👻🎃

The trophy was presented by Alicia Cook from Ecomist, last week’s winner, who handed it over with well-earned bragging rights now firmly in Peter’s hands.

Well done, Peter. The bar has been set high for next week!

🦅 What a way to start a Thursday! ☀️
The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and BNI Eagle was buzzing this morning. There’s something special about walking into a room full of people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Great conversations, fresh introductions and plenty of quality referrals passed around the table. It’s a reminder that the best business growth comes from relationships built on trust, consistency and showing up for one another week after week.

A big thank you to every member and visitor who joined us today. Your energy and generosity make this chapter what it is.

If you’re a local business owner looking to grow through meaningful connections, come along as our guest. We’d love to have you at the table.

📣 This Thursday at BNI Eagle, our featured speaker is Brad Ferguson of Bookeze, who holds the bookkeeping seat in our chapter. Brad helps business owners keep their books accurate, up to date and stress-free, so they can spend less time on paperwork and more time running their business. We're looking forward to learning more about what he does and how we can refer him with confidence.

We're told the presentation is already fully reconciled, perfectly balanced and won't come up short in any department! 😅

Know a business owner drowning in receipts or dreading their next BAS? Come along and meet Brad on Thursday.

📣 Today’s featured speaker at BNI Eagle was Cam Weeks of Cam Tag, who holds our test and tag seat.

Cam explained why regular testing and tagging of appliances and tools matters so much, and the risks it helps prevent:

Electric shock and electrocution: hidden internal wiring damage, cracked cords or loose connections can send live current to the outer casing of an appliance.

Electrical fires: overheated cords, arcing and worn insulation are common causes of fires in workplaces and commercial premises.

Avoidable downtime: faults that go unnoticed can lead to sudden equipment failures, stopping work and disrupting projects.

It was a great reminder that a quick test today can save a lot of trouble tomorrow. Thanks for a valuable presentation, Cam!

Need your appliances and tools tested and tagged? Cam is the person to call.

🏆🦅 Congratulations to Alicia Cook of Ecomist, this week’s winner of the Golden Eagle Wings of Persuasion trophy for best infomercial!

Alicia had the room laughing with a cheeky tale about recruiting some new helpers from a local aged care facility, leaving us all wondering whether she’d end up joining them instead! Entertaining as always, Alicia.

The trophy was presented by last week’s winner, Cam from Cam Tag, who handed over the wings with pride.

☔🦅 The rain didn’t dampen our spirits at BNI Eagle this morning! 🦅

Umbrellas at the door, smiles in the room, and plenty of great referrals changing hands. It’s a reminder that when a group of local business owners shows up for each other, the weather barely rates a mention.

Thanks to everyone who braved the wet to be there. Rain, hail or shine, Thursday mornings at BNI Eagle are always worth it.

If you’re a business owner looking to grow through trusted referrals, come along as our guest and see what we’re all about. Message us to book your spot!

We're expecting an electrifying presentation, but don't worry, Cam has already tested and tagged the projector. The only sparks flying will be the referrals! 🔌 Message us if you'd like to come along for breakfast and networking - we'd love to meet you.
