A fantastic turnout at our Northern Rivers Baseball Association Come & Try Day! 🙌⚾

It was brilliant to see so many new faces out on the diamond — kids giving baseball a go, learning new skills, making friends and, most importantly, having plenty of fun! ❤️⚾

A huge THANK YOU to all the families who came along, our coaches and volunteers who made the day possible, and everyone who helped create such a welcoming atmosphere.

The smiles, the hits, the throws and the excitement say it all! 💥⚾

Join us at Arkinstall Park on Sunday, 30 August, from 9:00am–11:00am for a fun-filled Come & Try Baseball Day with Northern Rivers Baseball Association 🙌

No experience needed, equipment is provided, and everyone is welcome to come along, have a go, meet new people and enjoy the game. ⚾

We’re also excited to have Cool Bananas Gold Coast joining us on the day with delicious coffee and açaí available at the field. ☕🥣🍓

A big thank you to Tweed Valley Weekly for supporting local junior sport and helping us spread the word about the launch of the Murwillumbah Hawks! 🦅⚾

We’re excited to give more local kids and families the opportunity to discover baseball, learn new skills, make friends and be part of our growing Northern Rivers baseball community.

☕️⚾️ CALLING LOCAL COFFEE VANS!

Northern Rivers Baseball is seeking expressions of interest from local coffee vans to join us at our upcoming Come & Try Days in:

📍 Murwillumbah
📍 Tweed Heads
📍 Brunswick Heads

As a community sporting association working with a small budget, we’re hoping to connect with local coffee vans who are happy to attend without a call-out fee, with vendors keeping 100% of their profits on the day.

In return, we want to support you too! ❤️

Participating vendors will have their business logo shared across our social media and relevant promotional posts in the lead-up to the event.

As these are Come & Try Days, attendee numbers can’t be guaranteed, and we want to be transparent about that upfront.

Our bigger goal is to build relationships with local businesses that we can continue to support and work with at future baseball events, tournaments and community days.

Local supporting local. That’s what community sport is all about. ⚾️☕️
