So close! 🏀 Our TRACKS Care Basketball team — Dan, Mitch, Joel and Tiana — made it all the way to the Grand Final of the
Hoops 4 Health AUS Corporate 3x3 Challenge before losing on the buzzer to a team from the University of Virginia (USA). What an effort! We're so proud of the crew.

Massive thanks to Hoops 4 Health AUS for an unreal event and the work you do connecting community and culture through the game 🏀. Shoutout to all of the other amazing organisations involved. Until next year! 🙌

🎤 Our session: Culturally Led NDIS Support — Walking Together and what it means for the sector

📅 Tuesday 2 June | Darwin

Walking Together is TRACKS Care's men's group programme for Aboriginal men of all ages with NDIS plans in Darwin. It runs on a simple but powerful idea — that when culture is the foundation, people show up. And they keep coming back.

We'll be sharing what we're seeing on the ground: men engaging consistently, families noticing change, relationships and trust building session by session. Real outcomes, grounded in culture.

We'll also be talking honestly about why this work matters so much in the NT context — and what it actually takes to build an organisation where cultural safety isn't a policy on a shelf, but the way everyone operates, every day.

TRACKS Care is Aboriginal-owned and operated. Our Culturally Safe Service Delivery Framework was designed with and by Aboriginal people. Every team member — regardless of background — is trained in it. In February this year, we passed our NDIS Conditional Stage 2 Audit with zero non-conformities and two Best Practice ratings, both for culturally appropriate, person-centred practice.

We're not just talking about what culturally safe NDIS support should look like.

We're delivering it.

If you're at the conference on Monday, come and say hello. And if you're working in or around the disability sector in the NT — we'd love to connect.

Abilities Unleashed was an incredible day of inclusive sport, teamwork and fun! 🏆💙

Students from schools across the region got involved in Wheelchair NRL, tennis, AFL, adaptive bikes, cricket and golf — challenging themselves, building confidence and showing that sport is for everyone.

A huge thank you to all the schools, teachers, organisers and students who made the day such a success.

🧡 What a difference a year makes.

Yesterday we had a stall at the Darwin Disability Expo — and wow, what a day.

It was so good to see some of our current participants and their families there, and to meet so many new faces. The conversations were warm, the connections were real, and more than a few people already knew who we were before we even introduced ourselves.

That last part hit differently. This time last year, we had one active client and virtually no profile in the community. Yesterday, people were coming up to us saying they'd heard of TRACKS Care — heard good things.

We're so proud of how far we've come — and we're just getting started. 💪

Two years of Jayne Parkin at TRACKS Care on Sunday 16th 🎉 Couldn’t let the week close out without marking it.
When Suzie, Adrian and I first started talking about setting up TRACKS Care, we knew what we wanted to build. But after years of running Tracks Integrated Services in recruitment, we also knew the whole thing would live or die on who we found to lead it. So we agreed we wouldn’t even start until we had the right person.
Then we met Jayne. All three of us knew, almost from that first conversation, that she was it.
Two years on, what Jayne has built is so much more than systems and operations. She’s built a culture.
A culture where our team feels properly supported, trained, and never left on their own. Where participants and their families are met with patience, respect, and consistency. Where cultural safety isn’t a line in a policy, it’s how we actually show up. Where high standards and a genuine heart sit side by side, because that’s how Jayne leads.
You can feel it in the team she’s gathered around her. You can feel it in the stories participants and families share. And you could feel it in the Stage 2 audit result a couple of months ago — zero non-conformities and two ratings of best practice — which just made visible what we already knew.
Jayne, thank you. For saying yes two years ago, for the way you lead, and for the culture you’ve built at TRACKS Care. We are so genuinely appreciative of you. 💜

“From the beginning, we’ve felt comfortable and supported with Tracks Care... [they're] accommodating, easy to talk to, and really understand what you’re trying to say."

Hearing positive feedback from participants and families means a lot to our team because it reflects the trust people place in us every day.
