DE TECH is an international company specializing in Hazard Area Risk Assessment resulting in consulted advice to the client on required resolution of their bespoke situation The company specializes in Risk Assessment Survey and the resulting actions that follow to remove the hazard be it EOD, situational advice or awareness training. SAFETY
Safety of the client is the primary concern of DE-TECH.
We strive to create a safe working environment through accurate risk assessment and feedback to the client. RISK/HAZARD ASSESSMENT
Risk assessment is conducted using various methods. The initial phase consists of a non-technical survey (NTS). The non-technical survey involves research of the affected area/zone through all means possible from historical reviews to the interview of residents and local authorities to physical site visits. All data accumulated is analyzed and interpreted to produce a state of the art Risk Assessment Report for the client. The phases following the non-technical survey generally stem from the result of the survey itself and could be implemented during the survey itself. This typically being during a survey involving unexploded ordnance (UXO) and/or land mines. In a case like this the items found would either be recorded and marked or disposed of immediately dependent on the situational location and risk of the site/zone in question. IEDD, CIED, EOD AND DEMOLITION CONSULTING
Consulting in this field could be in one of two environments:
• During or after Non-Technical Survey. During an NTS would typically be initiated in a densely populated or frequently accessed area while after an NTS would be effected in a rural area not frequented by residents or workforce.
• During a response to a scene. This situation would evolve when DE-TECH is part of the reaction team. SMALL ARMS DISPOSAL
Small arms disposal is conducted when assessment leads to the discovery of large amounts of small arms. DE-TECH would either;
• provide advice to the client on how to dispose of the items, or
• dispose of the items for the client. DE-TECH could further design (and have manufactured) a small arms furnace for the disposal of items on a regular basis if required should a client have this requirement. SECURITY/MARITIME SECURITY AWARENESS
DE-TECH offers security related advice on a consultation basis relating to risk areas being previous conflict areas (battle areas/zones) or civil unrest related areas where clients might be conducting business. TRAINING, ASSESSMENT AND MODERATION
