With experience spanning international banking, small business ownership, economic development, and small business program management with the province, Elizabeth has spent her career helping businesses and communities thrive.

Today, she brings that knowledge and passion to the Muskoka Small Business Centre, where she enjoys supporting local entrepreneurs as they build, grow, and achieve their business goals, by providing one-on-one consulting support, business coaching and workshop delivery.

What is the Summer Company program?☀️

Summer Company helps students aged 15 to 29 start and run their own summer business with support from the Muskoka Small Business Centre.

Participants receive:
• Training and mentorship from experienced business consultants
• Guidance on starting and running a business
• Support developing a business plan
• Opportunities to build entrepreneurial skills and real-world experience
• Up to $3,000 in grant funding

The program is designed to help students turn a business idea into a reality while gaining valuable experience in entrepreneurship, customer service, marketing, budgeting, and business operations.
