Work Permit Holders May Be Able to Study Without a Study Permit! 🎓🇨🇦

As of September 4, 2026, eligible foreign workers in Canada with a valid work permit can study for up to 6 months without applying for a separate study permit.

✅ Valid work permit required
✅ Program must be 6 months or less
✅ You can continue working while studying
✅ Applies to eligible workers across Canada, including Quebec
📅 Temporary measure currently in place until December 31, 2027

⚠️ Important: This does NOT create a new pathway to come to Canada. Full-time studies generally still require a study permit, and specific eligibility conditions apply. 🇨🇦
