If you have unusable single use (alkaline) batteries at home that you want to recycle, drop them off at one of our recycling stations on SFU Campus (PS: We've just added 2 stations on SFU Surrey campus at their Library and the SFSS Office!!)
When you drop off your batteries, don't forget to take a photo of your contribution and post it on this page for a chance to win an SFU Bookstore giftcard! One winner will be randomly selected on Friday, March 8.

Donate to the SFU Battery Recycling Drive and have a chance to win a $25 SFU Bookstore gift card. Here's how you can enter our contest:

1. Bring your unusable batteries to one of our boxes on SFU Burnaby campus (locations are listed below).
2. Take a picture to show that you've donated (like the one below).
3. Post it onto this page.
4. Like this page.

Our recycling stations are located on SFU Burnaby & Surrey campus at: SFU Library (Burnaby & Surrey), SFSS Women's Centre, SFSS Out On Campus, SFU Student Central, Simon Fraser Student Society office (Burnaby & Surrey), and Beedie Academic Advising.
Winners will be randomly selected and announced weekly on March 8th and 15th! Good luck!
Note: We are only accepting single-use batteries.
