👉Looking for: Personal Support Worker (PSW) 🌿

Hello Darlene is looking to welcome a caring, professional PSW to support senior clients throughout the North Bay, Callander, and Powassan areas.

Support may take place in clients’ homes, retirement residences, long-term care settings, or hospitals, depending on individual client needs.

This is flexible, casual subcontractor work with visits scheduled based on client needs. Hours will vary and are not guaranteed weekly; however, we aim to build consistent client relationships and ongoing support where possible.

This role focuses more on companionship, wellness visits, outings, and light support versus high-volume clinical home care. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys slower-paced, one-to-one care and building trusted relationships over time.

Some clients have expressed a preference for female support workers for personal care and companionship services. Because of this, we are currently seeking female PSWs who are able to provide support with warmth, professionalism, dignity, and respect.

✨ Ideal Candidate:
• Certified PSW (or relevant experience)
• Comfortable working in an independent subcontractor role
• Reliable transportation, must have your own vehicle
• Warm, compassionate, and dependable
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with using app technology on your phone
• Comfortable supporting seniors with varying needs
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (or willing to obtain)
• Values dignity, autonomy, and person-centered care

✨ Additional Notes:
• Most visits occur during daytime weekday hours
• This is not overnight or high-volume shift work
• Flexible availability is considered an asset
