Whether you volunteered, inherited the role, or were just standing too close to the IT person when they quit — welcome to the job. :-)

My latest video walks you through the 5 things every new M365 admin needs to get productive fast:
1️⃣ Users — Add people, reset passwords, assign licences, and offboard properly.
2️⃣ Groups — Learn about the 3 different group types. A Microsoft 365 Group isn't just a list of names. It spins up a Team, a SharePoint site, a Planner, a shared mailbox, and a calendar all at once.
3️⃣ Licences & Billing — Removing a licence doesn't delete mail or files. It just stops access.
4️⃣ SharePoint Admin Centre — Every new Team, every private or shared channel has its own SharePoint site. The admin centre is where you see the full picture — and where you make external sharing deliberate, not accidental.
5️⃣ Exchange Admin: Shared Mailboxes & Aliases — Need info@, accounts@, or support@? Shared mailboxes don't need licences, multiple people can use them, and they can send as that address. Aliases let one mailbox have many email addresses with zero added complexity.
