KBL is proud to be a sponsor and exhibitor at RemTech 2026 in Banff.

Complex environmental sites require more than a plan — they require the right people, equipment and field experience to move work from strategy to ex*****on.

At this year’s RemTech, our team will be onsite to talk about practical solutions for contaminated soil, impacted water, hazardous materials, legacy sites, remediation, reclamation and closure.

Visit the KBL booth to connect with our team and talk through your most challenging site.

KBL is heading to RemTech 2026 as a proud sponsor and exhibitor.

Our work often starts where things are complex: contaminated soil, impacted water, hazardous materials, legacy sites, tight timelines, remote logistics and projects that need a practical path to closure.

At RemTech, we’re looking forward to connecting with clients, partners and industry peers to talk about what it takes to move environmental liabilities into field-ready action.

Stop by the KBL booth and connect with our team.

Water stewardship starts before discharge.

Before water can be treated, reused, or released, project teams need to understand the site conditions: what is in the water, how much needs to be managed, what treatment train is appropriate, and what requirements apply to the receiving environment.

Portable treatment systems help bring that capability closer to the work. The system shown here can be mobilized as part of a project-specific approach to water treatment and management.

In our 2025 ESG reporting, KBL identified water treatment, dredging, dewatering, sediment management, and compliant discharge as important parts of responsible environmental ex*****on.

The practical takeaway: good water management begins with the right questions, asked early.

KBL is attending the Canadian Women in Energy Allies in Energy Forum.

Amanda Pearson will be onsite connecting with Canada’s energy community and supporting conversations around leadership, inclusion and collaboration across the sector.

We’re looking forward to engaging with industry peers and continuing to build relationships that support strong environmental outcomes for energy and industrial projects.

Connect with Amanda at the forum.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on the lasting impacts of the residential school system.

It is also an opportunity to listen, learn and continue the work of reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and communities.

At KBL, we recognize the importance of ongoing learning, respectful relationships and meaningful reconciliation. Today, we pause to remember, reflect and recommit to learning.

Our filter presses are in action, supporting an industrial tank cleanout.

This project involves removing accumulated sludge from an industrial tank to help the facility maintain compliance and prevent sludge levels from reaching a critical point.

Using KBL’s mixing tanks, pumping equipment, and filter presses, the sludge is conditioned and dewatered into a manageable filter cake, reducing the volume requiring final disposal.

Thank you to our field team for their hard work and attention to detail in keeping the operation running safely and smoothly.

Healthy rivers don't happen by accident—they're protected through thousands of small decisions made every day. 🌊

Protecting waterways goes beyond regulations and permits. It takes planning, responsible work practices and people who are committed to making a difference—both on project sites and in the communities where we live and work.

At KBL, protecting water resources is part of how we approach environmental services, from planning and construction support to remediation and environmental monitoring. We also believe stewardship extends beyond our projects.

Last year, members of our team participated in an Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup, helping remove litter from local waterways and contributing to healthier aquatic ecosystems. Every action—whether on a project site or during a community cleanup—helps protect the rivers and waterways that support our communities, wildlife and environment.

This World Rivers Day, we celebrate the importance of Canada's rivers and the people working every day to keep them healthy for future generations.

Most of a pipeline's life is spent underground—and out of sight.

Once a pipeline is in service, the work doesn't stop. Operators continually inspect, assess and maintain pipeline integrity to identify corrosion, cracks, mechanical damage and other potential issues long before they become problems. Modern integrity management programs use in-line inspection tools ("smart pigs"), pressure testing and direct assessments to help keep pipelines operating safely and reliably.

At KBL, we support pipeline owners throughout the entire lifecycle—from construction and maintenance to integrity management, repairs and decommissioning—helping keep critical infrastructure operating safely and responsibly.
