SecurU is looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Installer / Technician who knows their way around a job site and can take a security project from installation through programming, commissioning and client handoff.

This isn’t an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone who already has strong experience with:

• Commercial access control
• DSC security hardware
• IP video and CCTV systems
• Troubleshooting and system programming
• Commercial cabling and installation

Kantech experience is a big plus, and locksmithing experience will definitely get our attention.

You’ll also need a clean driving record and the ability to pass a police check.

If you’ve spent 5+ years building your skills and you’re looking for a team where that experience will be put to good use, we’d like to hear from you.

At SecurU, that means installing, programming and commissioning systems, solving problems when they come up, working directly with clients and helping less-experienced technicians improve along the way.

To be considered, you should have:
• 5+ years of commercial installation experience
• Strong access control experience
• Proficiency with DSC security hardware
• Strong IP video knowledge
• A clean driving record
• Ability to pass a police check

We’re hiring a Senior Commercial Security Installer / Technician.

If you’ve spent years in the field installing, programming and troubleshooting commercial security systems, and you’re ready for a role where your experience is genuinely valued, we’d like to hear from you.

At SecurU, our Senior Technicians do more than pull wire and install hardware. You’ll take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, commission systems, solve problems in the field and help guide the next generation of technicians.

The must-haves:
• 5+ years of commercial security installation experience
• Strong experience with access control systems
• Proficiency with DSC security hardware
• Strong IP video / CCTV experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a police check

Experience with Kantech is a major asset, and locksmithing experience is an added bonus.

You should also be comfortable troubleshooting, programming, cabling, climbing ladders and taking a project from installation through commissioning and client training.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, keeps a clean job site, communicates well with customers and can be counted on when a project gets challenging.
