A team on foot, a command vehicle, and a temporary incident site do not need the same setup. The real question is not “Do we need connectivity?” It is how does the operation move?

Even satellite has bad days. That is exactly why resilience should never depend on one path.

The recent, widely discussed OneWeb outage was a useful reminder for the market: no single network layer should carry the full continuity burden on its own. Not fibre. Not cellular. Not LEO. Yesterday at the CACP Show in Edmonton, we got a chance to showcase how deployable connectivity can support police and first responder teams in the field.
