At Forwarding Corp. we believe it’s not enough to simply hear about the future of our industry — we need to be part of the conversation that shapes it.
That’s why our Team consisting of Vitek Manitius, President of Forwarding and Sandy K., Pricing Specialist, attended the 2026 CIFFA Conference: Forward Thinking, Collaboration in a Complex World, held by CIFFA on October 20–21 at Universal Event Space in Vaughan, Ontario.
The conference brought together industry leaders, logistics professionals, and innovators to exchange ideas, explore emerging trends, and discuss the challenges shaping the future of freight forwarding.
As the freight forwarding landscape continues to evolve, technology, collaboration, and adaptability play an increasingly important role in keeping operations connected and efficient. From digital transformation and operational efficiency to cybersecurity, cargo risks, and supply chain disruptions, these conversations are essential to building a stronger, more connected logistics industry.
From Forwarding’s perspective, attending the CIFFA conference was an excellent opportunity to connect with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and reflect on the future of global logistics.
One of the standout highlights from the conference was an inspiring opening remark by Bruce Rodgers, Executive Director of CIFFA.
Together with the CIFFA team, Bruce delivered an exceptional event that was professionally organized, engaging, and valuable for everyone in attendance.
It was also a pleasure to reconnect with old friends and colleagues from the logistics industry and exchange perspectives with Ruth Snowden, former Executive Director of CIFFA Norman Walsh, Cargo Sales Manager at Air France-KLM Cargo, and Damian Quansah, Regional Sales Director at OOCL. These conversations remind us of the importance of building strong relationships, sharing knowledge, and learning from one another as our industry continues to evolve.
We look forward to future opportunities to learn, grow, exchange knowledge, and collaborate - because moving forward means to never stop learning.
