Company Overview
Standard Auto Wreckers is a licensed auto recycler with over 45 years of experience in the automotive salvage industry. We are committed to providing eco-friendly solutions for end-of-life vehicles and offering high-quality used auto parts to our customers across the GTA and Ontario.

Summary
We are seeking a Tow Truck Operator to join our team at Standard Auto Wreckers. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting end of life vehicles to our facility while providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation as a reliable and eco-friendly choice for automotive recycling.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to and from designated locations.
• Provide excellent customer service during vehicle pickups and drop-offs.
• Perform basic inspections on vehicles before towing to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all towing activities and transactions.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding towing services.
• Collect end of life vehicles from residences, repair facilities, auctions and commercial accounts
Requirements
• Valid Ontario class G license or higher with a clean abstract
• Valid Ontario Tow Driver Certificate is required.
• Minimum 1 year of towing vehicles experience
• Knowledge of MTO regulations and vehicle securement procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset for vehicle assessments.
• Previous experience in towing, vehicle transportation, automotive recycling or the automotive industry is considered an asset
• Ability to work occasional evening, weekends, and overtime as required.
